Singing in South Yorkshire dialect 2022
Our Singing for Memory group have written a lively new tune
Singing for Memory’s regular Monday afternoon sessions at The Point have continued to go from strength to strength during the first half of 2022.
In addition to singing favourite songs and firming up our percussion skills, we have been concentrating on the group’s own songwriting.
The latest, guided by musicians Janet and Luke, and written by group members has been a lively song in South Yorkshire dialect. We hope it will become a firm favourite amongst group members for years to come!
Singing for Memory is our free weekly group for adults living with dementia and their family, friends, and carers. Sessions are free and run at The Point on Monday afternoons – we would love to see you there! For more information, visit our Singing for Memory webpage or email amy@wearedarts.org.uk
