Volunteer Stories: Jack

To celebrate Volunteers’ Week, we are introducing you to some of our brilliant volunteer team.

Jack has been volunteering at The Point for over 9 years. He volunteered in our cafe before it was refurbished and helped us to keep tables clear, welcome visitors and serve delicious food and drinks.

When asked what he enjoys most about volunteering, Jack said, ‘I have made lots of new friends’. Jack told us that he loves to help out at big events, like exhibition launches and festivals.

Jack added, ‘I think volunteering is very important because it helps build up confidence and learn new skills’.
