New Dance Network Alliance Connects Doncaster's Movers and Shakers
A new network bringing together Doncaster’s vibrant dance scene is thriving. Launched in 2023, the Doncaster Dance Network Alliance, established with support from Get Doncaster Moving and hosted by darts at The Point, aims to unite everyone with a passion for movement.
Aligned with the Doncaster Dance Strategy’s six dance ambitions, the network fosters collaboration, explores exciting new opportunities, and celebrates the diverse dance and movement practices happening across Doncaster. Whether you’re a seasoned professional dancer, a community group leader or you just love to dance, this network is for you. Charlotte Armitage, Core Artist at darts, explains:
"We share best practices, information, and work together to raise awareness of all the fantastic dance opportunities available in the city."
Dance schools, arts organisations, freelance artists, community groups, and health professionals are all welcome to join the conversation. Open meetings are held every other month at The Point, providing a space for connection, collaboration, and celebrating Doncaster’s love for dance.
