Meet the Artist: Rosie Hood

Rosie Hood is singer, songwriter, and experienced inclusive music facilitator working in school and community settings across South Yorkshire. Rosie works with people of all ages and ability levels with varying needs, including those who are learning disabled, have complex access requirements and those with autistic spectrum condition.
Rosie has performed interactive concerts and delivered engaging progressive workshops at dozens of diverse specialist schools across the country for the past ten years for a variety of charities and organisations. She has recently co-designed the Royal Opera & Ballet Magic Flute resources for sensory learners, and is experienced at submitting whole class groups for the Trinity Awards & Certificates in Musical Development. Rosie works with a number of organisations delivering music to children and young people who face the most barriers, including darts in Doncaster, Live Music Now, The Amber Trust and Sheffield Music Hub.
When Rosie isn’t delivering sessions in school and community sessions she writes, records and tours with her eponymous folk quartet, The Rosie Hood Band, who recently released their album: A Seed of Gold.
