February is Free Wills Month

dart partners with Ison Harrison Solicitors to offer free will-writing service

A group of children wearing red and white school uniforms are taking part in an activity with darts in Doncaster.

darts, Doncaster’s award-winning participatory arts charity, is launching its first Free Wills Month in partnership with Ison Harrison Solicitors, offering up to 10 supporters the opportunity to create a will free of charge during February 2026.

The Free Wills Month initiative aims to make will-writing accessible while raising awareness about the lasting impact of leaving gifts to charitable causes. Participants will receive professional legal advice and support to create a will that reflects their wishes, with the option – but no obligation – to include a gift to darts.

“Legacy giving is about ensuring that the transformative work we do today continues to change lives for generations to come,” said Sophy Sylvester, Director (Fundraising & Development) at darts. “We’re grateful to Ison Harrison Solicitors for partnering with us to make this important service accessible to our supporters.”

Legacy gifts of any size can make a significant difference to charitable organisations, helping them plan for long-term sustainability and expand their reach. Partner and Wills & Probate Solicitor Jessica Haigh says:

Ison Harrison is committed to supporting our local community and darts does incredible work transforming lives through the arts. We're pleased to offer Free Wills Month as a way to help people protect their loved ones and, if they wish, leave a lasting legacy to organisations making a real difference in Doncaster.
