We're looking for brilliant board members to join our team
Could you be a Trustee for darts?
We are looking to recruit three new Trustees to join our brilliant board!
You do not need to have previous trustee experience – just your own knowledge and understanding of your sector / practice.
We are specifically seeking:
- Practicing artists specialising in participatory arts practice
- Leaders in education or academia
- Business leaders and local influencers
- Finance experts
- Leaders in devolved authority, local authority or policy
We want our trustees to be real advocates for darts and to help us strive for our mission for everyone to feel an accepted and valued part of the community, creating a healthier and more connected society.
Desired attributes:
- Honesty and integrity
- Empathy – the ability to listen and understand
- Willingness to collaborate and interact with others
- A strong personal commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion
- A generosity in sharing skills, knowledge and experience
- Commitment to engaging in four board meetings a year plus other opportunities as listed below
- Motivation to support the team to work towards a shared vision
- Confidence to assess and mitigate risk

If we think you’ll be a good fit to join our board, we will invite you for an informal interview. Our preference is to hold these interviews in person, but we can be flexible around your needs. Informal interviews will take place in January 2026.
