Family fun at The Point: what’s new? [April 2018]
At the start of each month we’ll be compiling a list of events and activities for you to get stuck into as a family here at The Point.
Without further ado, here’s our free, fun and family-friendly list for April!
5 April: Holiday Family Workshop
Rock on an electric guitar, synthesize and bang on the bongos with music professional Moony Wainwright.
Sessions run at 10am – 12pm and 1pm – 3pm. The morning session is designed for children with disabilities and their families.
14 April: Saturday Family Workshop
Artist Dan Jones leads this workshop – get stuck in and create giant sculptures together!
10am – 12pm.
28 April: Saturday Family Workshop
Create a super-scientific world of sound using the latest music technology with Nick Lewis.
10am – 12pm.

From 23 April: Royal Photographic Society: International Images for Science
This exhibition explores the relationship between photography and science, showcasing 100 fascinating images selected by an expert judging panel. Find out more here.
You can take part in the above workshops and visit the exhibitions together as a family, but we also offer activities for young people to take part in on their own or with friends. There’s lots happening, from singing groups to art clubs – check out what we’ve got on here.
