Join the team!

We are looking for a new Front of House & Facilities Manager to join our friendly and passionate team: someone who is experienced, motivated and proactive, who can ensure that The Point is a welcoming and safe place for everyone who visits.

You will be leading our Front of House team and manage our lovely Grade II listed arts centre, set in the heart of Doncaster. In this customer-facing role, you will be essential in connecting the visitors, staff, volunteers and businesses who use The Point every day, helping them to make the most of their experience. In this role based at The Point, you will also ensure that activities run smoothly, and oversee operations in our friendly café, coordinating events and ensuring correct practice in health and safety regulations, conservation needs and environmental sustainability.

We want to work with someone who is friendly and approachable, and a skilled communicator who enjoys collaborating, working with, and supporting others. We are looking for a candidate who is proactive, takes the initiative and is eager to learn and develop their skills. This role would suit an experienced candidate looking for something new, or an early career applicant wanting to learn in the role.

The role is:

  • A permanent position
  • Based at The Point in central Doncaster
  • Salary: £30,448 (full time)
  • 35 hours a week, with some evening and Saturday shifts required
  • 6.6 weeks paid holiday per year (including Bank Holidays)

The deadline for application is 9am on Monday 4th September 2023.

We strongly encourage applications from all interested people with related experience, regardless of age, ethnicity and gender. We warmly welcome candidates from under-represented groups in the sector which includes Black, Asian and ethnically diverse people, those who are D/deaf, Disabled or Neurodiverse, and LGBTQIA+ candidates.
