Doncaster Music Hub is looking for new members to join our board
Are you passionate about music and education?
Doncaster Music Hub, (DMH) is a collection of local partners led jointly by Doncaster Music Service and darts. We are currently looking to recruit enthusiastic individuals for our Strategic Overview Board.
Our ambition is to provide every child in Doncaster the opportunity to sing and learn a musical instrument, and to perform as an ensemble regardless of race, ability, age or gender.
The role of a Board Member is to scrutinise the organisationās strategic work which includes planning, review, policy development and strategy development.
Who are we looking for?
Previous experience at a board level is not essential. We are more interested in people who have a passion for music and education and are inspired to create a platform that allows for a true diverse and inclusive organisation.
We are particularly keen to hear from individuals with skills or experience in the following sectors:
- Music Education
- Marketing and Communications
- Community Funding
- SEND Schools or a specialism in Disability
We are an inclusive and welcoming organisation and seek to recruit trustees who represent the communities we serve. We strongly encourage applications from all interested people with related experience, regardless of age, ethnicity and gender. We warmly welcome candidates from under-represented groups in the sector which include Black, Asian and ethnically diverse people, those who consider themselves to be D/deaf, Disabled and Neurodiverse, trans, non-binary and LGBTQ+ candidates.
