my memories of the point

Kat shares her memories of visiting The Point – the home of darts.
My mum often took me to The Point after my Saturday mornings spent in dance classes at the YMCA.
When I first visited it I remember finding it exciting. It was something shiny and colourful, and filled with all sorts of curious things that I’d not seen anywhere else in Doncaster.
I enjoyed sitting for what felt like hours in the bookshop (now their Story area). I also loved the cafe’s jacket potatoes and homemade coleslaw (I was weirdly obsessed with coleslaw as a kid!).
To someone who’s thinking of coming to The Point, I’d say: you never know what you might find here!
