Ann Wallis
Ann is our Chair of Trustees. Ann’s career spans a broad range of work primarily in the arts and cultural sector. She has worked as a designer-maker in her own studio practice; managed arts and cultural development in the public sector, and lead strategic work at Arts Council Yorkshire.
Beverly Carr
Beverly is the Treasurer on our Board of Trustees. Beverly is the Assistant Finance Director of South Yorkshire Housing Association in Sheffield. She is a qualified Corporate Treasurer (AMCT) and manages a large finance team, in a complex not-for-profit organisation with a turnover of £42 million and a treasury portfolio of £120 million.
Rachael Blake
Rachael is is one of our Trustees. Rachael has been a councillor for Rossington, Austerfield and Bawtry ward since May 2015. She currently works in engagement and consultation in the infrastructure/ construction industry. She has worked for 30 years in local authorities, the NHS and 3rd sector.
Lawson Pater
Lawson is Vice Chair of our Board of Trustees. Lawson has previously been Chair of the local NHS Foundation Trust and has previously held board positions in UK subsidiaries of international companies and ran his own executive recruitment consultancy. His board experience includes sales, marketing and manufacturing.
Michael Hart
Michael is one of our Trustees. Michael started his career as a lifeguard at the Dome in Doncaster, a venue that he now runs, along with the seventeen other venues that make up Doncaster Culture and Leisure Trust (DCLT). Michael is Chief Executive Officer of DCLT and Director of Doncaster Conferences, Catering and Events.
Karl O'Reilly
Karl is one of our Trustees. Karl is currently Executive Head Teacher & Principal Designate for Coppice School and Bader Academy and has a wealth of knowledge in all areas of Special Educational Needs. He has worked in and supported a number of schools to improve provision for children and young people. He has a passion for developing leadership in schools.
Laura Stead
Laura is one of our Trustees. She is a creative Chartered Marketer based in South Yorkshire and has a broad range of marketing experienced developed over the past 15+ years. Laura has worked in public, private and third sectors, on B2C and B2B campaigns and has a flair for optimising the tightest of marketing budgets.
Duncan Robertshaw
Duncan is CEO at darts and oversees our building, The Point. Duncan is an experienced Senior Leader and drives our Business Plan forward.
Helen Jones
Helen is Assistant Director at darts. She oversees all of our work with children and young people and programmes the gallery at The Point. Helen has more than twenty years' experience in programme management and delivery. Helen is also Safeguarding Lead at darts.
Sophy Sylvester
Sophy is Head of Fundraising & Development and oversees all of our marketing and communications work. Sophy has over twenty years' experience in fundraising and project management and is a member of the Senior Team.
Lucy Robertshaw
Lucy is Assistant Director at darts and oversees all of our work with adults. Lucy has over twenty years’ experience of developing, managing and evaluating projects, with positive outcomes. Lucy is also a trained Makaton Local Tutor.
Hayley Beecher
Hayley is our Programmes Manager and looks after our All Aboard programme, Dance On and our work in schools. Hayley is a trained dancer and facilitator as well as having over twenty years of project management experience and is adept at managing multiple programmes effectively.
Sophie Regan
Sophie is an Arts Administrator and looks after lots of darts projects such as All Aboard and Singing for Memory. She also co-ordinates our volunteer programme and supports our volunteer team to develop their experience and skills across our work.
Vanessa Edwards
Vaness is one of the cleaners at The Point, home of darts. She always has a smile on her face and ensures that The Point is clean and welcoming for all of our visitors and participants.
Dyzelle Sutherland
Dyzelle is one of our core artists. She is a skilled musician, violinist and a whizz at music technology. Dyzelle is a classically trained violin player and qualified in the Kodaly and Colourstrings Method of music education.
Janet Wood
Janet is one of our core artists. She is a highly experienced singer/songwriter rooted in the British folk tradition, but influenced by music from many other cultures. She has a strong track record as a community artist and a choir leader.
Bob Adams
Bob is one of our core artists. He has been working as a Coach on the Talent Match and Legacy 6 programmes over the last 7 years and is now supporting our Creative Directions in the Community project. Bob is a skilled performance artist and street entertainer.
Lesley Wilson
Lesley is one of our Building Co-ordinators at The Point and is often on the reception desk to welcome visitors into the building.
Dawn Buckley
Dawn is one of our Building Co-ordinators at The Point and is often on the reception desk to welcome visitors into the building.
Jamie Rosser
Jamie is a Participation Co-ordinator here at darts. He supports participants in our Creative Directions project and in Creative Directions in the Community.
Susan Curry
Susan is one of the cleaners at The Point, home of darts. She is one of our longest serving members of staff and always ensures that The Point is clean and welcoming for all of our visitors and participants.
Ruth Taylor
Ruth is one of our Building Co-ordinators at The Point and is often on the reception desk to welcome visitors into the building.
Maureen Bradbury
Maureen is a receptionist at The Point and is often on the reception desk to welcome visitors into the building.
Charlotte Armitage
Charlotte is one of our core artists. She is a dancer with lots of experience in a wide range of settings. Charlotte delivers the majority of our Dance On sessions and has been developing new groups across the borough. She has developed a fantastic approach of inclusive dance, ensuring that everyone feels happy and confident while moving!
Dr Elanor Stannage
Elanor is an Arts & Health Project Manager for darts and is currently developing our Creative Directions programme along with the Cast/National Theatres project, Public Acts. Elanor has recently completed her PhD in Arts and Mental Health and has an excellent understanding of the positive impacts that engaging in the arts can have on people's health & wellbeing.
Alison Bennett
Alison is a receptionist at The Point and is often on the reception desk to welcome visitors into the building.
