We are an award winning team of artists, musicians, performers, trustees & support staff

Jim Carley

Jim Carley is the our Interim Chair. He is Business Development Director of Shaw Trust, a national employability, health, and independence charity. He formerly founded and managed his own Doncaster based bid writing business, Carley Consult Ltd, which he sold in 2024, and he sits on the Doncaster Chamber Board.

Beverly Carr

Beverly is the Treasurer on our Board of Trustees. Beverly is the Assistant Finance Director of South Yorkshire Housing Association in Sheffield. She is a qualified Corporate Treasurer (AMCT) and manages a large finance team, in a complex not-for-profit organisation with a turnover of £42 million and a treasury portfolio of £120 million.

Michael Hart

Michael is one of our Trustees. Michael started his career as a lifeguard at the Dome in Doncaster, a venue that he now runs, along with the seventeen other venues that make up Doncaster Culture and Leisure Trust (DCLT). Michael is Chief Executive Officer of DCLT and Director of Doncaster Conferences, Catering and Events.

Victoria Ryves

Victoria is one of our Trustees. She has worked in museums for over a decade, and manages the Learning and Community Engagement programmes for Doncaster Culture Services. She is particularly interested in how culture can improves health and wellbeing and is currently Culture Lead at Wentworth Woodhouse.

Imogen Bond

Imogen is one of our Trustees. She trained as a theatre director before working for over 15 years as a theatre maker specialising in work for children and families. Imogen currently works as Managing Director of Empathy Labs UK and was previously National Schools Partnerships Manager for the Royal Opera House.

Duncan Robertshaw

Duncan is CEO at darts and oversees our building, The Point. Duncan is an experienced Senior Leader and drives our Business Plan forward. Duncan first joined darts as a trainee in photo-documentation and has seen darts grow from an initial team of four working from a library, to its current home at The Point.

Emma Liversidge-Smith

Emma is an experienced drama practitioner delivering sessions in schools for our schools programmes, helping young people to connect with their creative selves and build their confidence through drama activities, and supporting teachers.

Sophy Sylvester

Sophy is Director (Fundraising & Development) and Deputy CEO. Sophy has over twenty five years' experience in strategic management, fundraising and development, communications and marketing, and is a member of the Senior Team.

Lucy Robertshaw

Lucy is Director (Creative Health) at darts and oversees all of our work with adults. Lucy has over twenty five years’ experience of developing, managing and evaluating projects, with positive outcomes, and is also a trained Makaton Local Tutor.

Dyzelle Sutherland

Dyzelle is one of our core artists. She is a skilled musician, violinist and a whizz at music technology. Dyzelle is a classically trained violin player and qualified in the Kodaly and Colourstrings Method of music education.

Sarah Eastaff

Sarah is Director (Creative Learning), overseeing our work with children & young people. She is a theatre and participation producer with experience in Education, having been Secondary & Further Education Programme Manager with the National Theatre. She is a qualified Play Therapist.

Sophie Wragg-Regan

Sophie is an Arts Administrator and looks after many of darts' projects such as Creative Classrooms, First Verse and Art Club. She is also the co-ordinator of the volunteer programme at darts, and supports our volunteer team in developing a wealth of experience and skills across our work.

Charlotte Armitage

Charlotte is one of our core artists and Programme Managers. Charlotte manages our Dance On programme and has developed a fantastic approach of inclusive dance, ensuring that everyone feels happy and confident while moving, whether they are sitting or standing.

Janet Wood

Janet is one of our core artists. She is a highly experienced singer/songwriter rooted in the British folk tradition, but influenced by music from many other cultures. She has a strong track record as a community artist and a choir leader.

Lesley Wilson

Lesley is one of our Building Co-ordinators at The Point and is often on the reception desk to welcome visitors into the building.

Jamie Rosser

Jamie is a Participation Co-ordinator here at darts, supporting participants in our Creative Directions project and in Creative Directions in the Community.

Alex Fazakerley

Alex is one of our core Dance Artists, working on our projects in both Creative Learning and Health. Currently, she is focussing on building connections and boosting creative confidence with Doncaster families through movement, drama and music.

Cara McAleese

Cara is an Arts & Health Project Manager for darts, and brings a wealth of experience, particularly from her work on the Meet Me at the Albany programme in London, as well as producing roles and project management with a wide range of other arts organisations and projects.

Leanne Feeley

Leanne is the Finance Manager for darts. Most recently working for Polypipe, Leanne has over 10 year's experience in Finance and Accounting. She ensures darts finances run smoothly and fulfils all its statutory and Charity Commission obligations.

Gill Pearman

Gill is our cleaner at The Point, working hard to make sure that all our rooms are clean, tidy and welcoming for all of the participants, guests and visitors that come through our doors everyday.

Claire Hart

Claire is our Cafe Manager and has a broad experience of catering and hospitality. Claire looks after our menus and customer service and ensures the provision of delicious breakfasts, lunches, snacks and drinks.
