#PointFEST 2019 was a SUPER success!
Families from across the borough flocked to The Point on 25th May for this year’s #PointFEST festival.
This fantastic festival hosted almost 500 family members, two sell-out family raves, and a wide range of fun activities.
Families put The Avengers to shame with their spectacular superhero costumes, as the likes of Cactus Man and The Flaming Carrot made their appearances.

Those wanting the full Superhero experience starred in their very own comic book, thanks to our Superhero Selfie booth.
Meanwhile families enjoyed a variety of hands-on activities, from making their very own Superheroes from plasticine to crafting cool Superhero accessories in our visual arts workshop.

It was a joy to see our Studio turn into a family-friendly dance space, where children had the exciting opportunity of becoming DJs for the day before taking to the dance floor at our family raves.

Of course, all good things must come to an end – but #PointFEST certainly went out with a bang!
Live music acts, including the wonderful Doncaster Ukelele Group, took to our comic book exhibition space for a grand finale of hits which all the family could enjoy. It’s safe to say there was dancing, laughter and smiles all around!
