Poet, Paul Cookson leads a teacher CPD session as part of darts in Doncaster's Primary Arts Network

Doncaster Primary Arts Network is a place for teachers in Doncaster to learn, share ideas and best practice.

The Network meets termly and its main aims are to share ideas, inspiration and support for planning and implementing arts across the curriculum and to provide space to share best practice and feedback learning.

These informal and enjoyable sessions allow teachers to share their learning and explore new partnerships as well as providing CPD for teachers in a range of creative approaches for the classroom and art form skills training.

For more information about joining the network or for details of the next meeting, please contact amy@thepoint.org.uk

I learnt new sketchbook techniques, warm up drawing ideas, combining art with practicing times tables/ fractions and spellings.

I’m very glad I came, feeling very inspired and excited to do some of these projects with my pupils because it was clear how I can link it to the curriculum and my topics, Thank you!
