Join Janet and Charlie for this real song and dance

Singing for Memory and Dance On Doncaster have joined forces. Join Janet and Charlie for this real song and dance created especially for you.

Every season is a season to sing and dance, but we especially like to party in the summer. When the days are longer and the nights are lighter, singing and dancing never fails to make us feel a little brighter! So sing along to ‘Summer’s Good for Dancing’ and follow Charlie as she demonstrates some simple moves to accompany the song.

We’d love to see you joining in with Janet and Charlie from home! Please share your films or photos with us so that we can create a gallery. Remember to follow the guidelines below to record and share your moves with us! By sending us your films or photos, you are giving us permission to use them on our website and social media channels.

Creating the right environment if you’re filming
A suitable location to host the video would be somewhere quiet with good sound acoustics, light but not in front of a window or any other light source and a non-busy backdrop. Please check that the images/content of your background don’t have personal photos or anything like post with your address on!

If you’re sending us films or photos, try to send them by email to amy@thepoint.org.uk. If they are too big to email, you can use WeTransfer (it is free and really easy to use), or just tag us on social media:
