transitions film
A new film made by our Transitions groups

Transitions is a project providing Disabled young people, who are on the cusp of adulthood, with improved lifeskills, careers focused opportunities and progression towards independence.
Artists and mentors are collaborating with young people aged 14-19 year olds in three Doncaster Special Schools. Young people will design and deliver projects, improving their essential lifeskills, including communication, resilience, perseverance and confidence.
This film has been made by the young people and features a track made with the support of Musician – Rob Pearson, infinity books made with visual artist, Karen Hall and words created with poet, Sile Sibanda. Thanks to Moony Wainwright for editing support! Find out more about these artists here.
This project has been made possible thanks to funding from Baily Thomas Charitable Trust, Bruce Wake Charitable Trust, Edward Gostling Foundation, D’Oyly Carte Charitable Trust and Doncaster Music Education Hub.
