the trial of Joan Jurdie
New radio play by We Create Zoom participants
Have a listen to this short radio play, made by We Create participants and Brave Words.
Over the summer our weekly Zoom group learned about Joan Jurdie of Rossington, a real life Doncaster witch. They developed a story about her trial in 1605 and the other characters involved. The group brought ideas to the sessions about characters and plots, including a time-travelling Viking; and here’s what they came up with!
